Mojca Performs Brett Dean’s “From Melodious Lay”

On February 28 and March 2, Mojca performs with tenor Topi Lehtipuu in Brett Dean’s “From Melodious Lay (A Hamlet Diffraction)” with Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich. The work is an orchestral poem for soprano and tenor voice that explores the relationship between Hamlet and Ophelia through a creative redistribution of Shakespeare’s original text.

The concerts also include Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3, as well as Brett Dean’s “Testament – Music for twelve violas,” which was inspired by Beethoven’s Sinfonia Eroica. Brett Dean conducts.
