Mojca shines as Susanna in the Metropolitan Opera’s Le nozze di Figaro

Susanna in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro has been greeted with praise from critics and audiences alike. Mojca „brought a sweet, beguiling voice and a demure sincerity to Susanna,“ wrote the New York Times of the German soprano’s leading role in this „fresh and insightful“ production. She delievered her final aria „Giunse alfin il momento“ „with consummate sensuality; every phrase very tactile and delicately placed as she reclined on the staircase ready to be stolen away by the night“ (Latonos Post).

Performances of Le nozze di Figaro continue at the Metropolitan Opera through November 17.
