Mojca rings in the New Year at the Konzerthaus Berlin

German soprano Mojca Erdmann launches the new year on December 31 with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin and Markus Poschner. Performing in the capital’s Konzerthaus, she will sing a program that features “Kommt ein schlanker Bursch gegangen” from Weber’s Der Freischütz, “Mein Herr Marquis” from Strauss’s Die Fledermaus, and “Quando m’en vo” from Puccini’s La bohème. Legendary baritone Thomas Quasthoff emcees the evening.

Mojca’s first concert of 2014 takes place the following day with the same conductor and orchestra. She reprises her aria from Der Freischütz and adds “Tiger, wetze nur die Klauen” from Mozart’s Zaide to the repertoire.
